CONCIERGE VIRTUAL ATHLETE PROGRAM

Our concierge programming for athletes provides personalized treatment for anxiety and eating concerns, working around demanding travel and practice schedules. Our team of specialized therapists and dietitians support high-level competitors or performers who struggle with anxiety related problems, including generalized anxiety, panic, OCD, body dysmorphia, disordered eating or under-fueling for sport.

An IOP is a structured, non-residential psychological treatment program which addresses disorders through a combination of group-based psychotherapy, individual psychotherapy, family counseling and educational groups. A VIOP is the virtual/online version of an in-person IOP, wherein all groups and other sessions are attended on live video (note that clients who live close to one of our 4 locations may choose to attend individual and/or family sessions in person

Dr. Kulberg Anxiety Experts Eating Disorder and OCD therapist.png

Dr. Kulberg is a licensed psychologist with 25 years of experience in the treatment of anxiety and eating disorders, and a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. She has been trained through the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) in the use of Exposure with Response Prevention, the #1 treatment for anxiety. Dr. Kulberg often speaks at national conferences such as the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) and the IOCDF.  Her past employers include various hospital, residential and outpatient settings, including the Child & Adolescent Eating Disorder Program at Eating Recovery Center in Denver. She has also taught undergraduate and graduate level psychology courses.

Sarah Walsh Anxiety Experts Eating Disorder dietitian.png

Sarah Walsh is a registered dietitian with 11 years of experience. She graduated from Iowa State University with bachelors' and master’s degrees in Dietetics and Exercise Science respectively. She is a Certified Sports Specialty Dietitian (CSSD) and has served on multidisciplinary sports medicine teams while helping professional, collegiate, and tactical athletes move away from dieting and build a healthy relationship with food and body. Sarah has also worked for Eating Recovery Center’s Virtual Intensive Outpatient Eating Disorder Program. In addition to her current work for Anxiety Experts, Sarah is the dietitian for the Chicago Red Stars professional women’s soccer team.
